Data browser access

Hi Puppy,

Thanks for your query!

I believe you can secure it from Security Workbench (P00950).
Just curious if you need to secure it in all environments?

Thanks.

Data Browser

We are using JDE E1 9.0 with 9.1.5.5 TR. By default data browser is available under tools in all application. How to restrict this? Thanks in advance.

INFINITE LOOP DETECTION

Hi Puppy,

Is this while loop part of customization code or is it standard code?
If this is standard code we suggest to log case with Oracle first.
If its custom code please check what condition has been given to break the loop.
You may like to post the pseudo code for our better understanding.

Thanks.

Massive change of Planning Code

Hi Omar,

Based on what I understand this is one off issue. You can use either of the following workaround solution -

1. Get your technical to develop a custom application/report to update the impacted records.
2. Write a SQL script and get help from your CNC to execute the same to correct the impacted records.

On safer side you may also like to raise SR with Oracle Support to get their advise.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

Bank e-Payment

Hi Naveen,

There could be many ways to implement this. But mostly depend on if bank has any specific requirements on data accessibility and accepted data format.
From JDE side it can be implemented using flat files or BSSV.

Please provide more details in order for me to better understand and share my approach.

Thanks.
